Hi everybody,
For those of you who may not know me, my name is Kay Davis and I’m the Chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Project of the Arts Project of Cherry Grove (APCG).
Last summer a few Grove community members formed the CGDEI Project and we hosted our first event, “Let’s Talk”. It was well received by residents, renters and visitors. We began having some really honest conversations about how to recognize systemic racism and other “otherisms” in our world. We also began developing some tools to battle the negative effects of these systemic issues and to help create a space that is always getting better as we grow together!
